Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still rent if I am out of city/state?

Of course! We ship the items to you. It is essential that the start date of the rental period is not the same date as the event! Day 1 being the day it arrives to you, Day 7 being the day you return it. Rentals will come with a packing slip for returns. If the given 7 day period is surpassed, you will be charged 5% of the rental price per dress each day that they are late.

**Please DO NOT select your event date as the start of the rental period. You will NOT receive your order in time for the event.

I.E. Your party/photoshoot is Friday, November 11th, 2022. You reserve your dress for a one week period starting Wednesday 9th, 2022- Tuesday 15th, 2022. The dress should be returned on the 15th. If you return it after the 15th, you will be charged 5% of the rental price each day that the item is late.

 

Do you cover shipping?

Yes. A packing slip will be provided with the order as well for returns.

How will my dress be shipped?

Shipping will be through USPS Priority Mail. Your order should always be placed with at least 5 days in advance to clean, prepare, and ship your dress.

What if my dress arrives early? Does my rental period change?

No. Sometimes our post offices can be quick with the orders. This only means you have extra time with the dress. Orders with early arrival are still to be returned on the last day of the rental period.

My order arrived late! Where is it?

**Remember Covid-19 is still going around and may affect shipping times!**

After it is shipped, the order is no longer in our hands. By renting a dress with us and agreeing to our TERMS AND CONDITIONS you accept orders may arrive late due to shipping delays. If this occurs, you can:

  1. Contact the post office, provide them with the tracking number and open a case.
  2. Contact us via email rentals@miamidressrental.com with your information and order number.
When is the last day to return my dress?

For local clients, you have until the 3rd day the dress is in your possession to return it. For out of city/state clients, the final day to return the item/s to your post office (free of charge) will be the 7th day of your rental period.

What if I return my dress late?

If the items are not return in the proper accorded time, you will be charged 5% of the rental price per dress each day that they are late.

How can I refund an order?

Unfortunately, we do not give refunds (as stated in Terms & Conditions). You can, however, reuse your balance for store credit. Please call 786-536-5050 for any further questions.

What if I misplace the box the dress came in/packing slip?

If the customer misplaces the provided box or packing slip, the return cost is on YOU! We still expect the dress to be shipped back on the 7th day of the rental period.

Why can’t I select a date on the calendar?

It is most likely that the dress is already reserved for that date.

What is a safety deposit for dress rentals?

Flying, Water, Glam and Quinceañera dresses require a safety deposit of 40% (per dress). This amount will be held automatically from your credit card until the dress is returned. 

What if I am a local customer?

For local rentals- The dress/es will be in your possession for 3 days. Dress pick up and drop-off will be in store.

What if I return my dress with damage?

The garments returned should be in the same condition they were delivered with the respective hangers, boxes, or other goods. If the product is returned with minor damages, the store will evaluate the product and consider the due amount. If the damage is irreversible, Miami Dress Rental will charge the security deposit being held on chosen card.

Why did my dress come with a cosmetic imperfection?

All of our dresses are either new or like new condition. We strive to have the best quality in our dresses, but remember, they may have some cosmetic wear since they are rentals.

Personal Information

By renting a dress/es at Miami Dress Rental, you are authorizing our company to collect your personal information to provide you with a safe and   effortless transaction. We only collect information necessary for your purchase such as your name, email, mailing, shipping and billing addresses, phone number and method of payments. If there is a complication with your order, we can use your information to contact you directly. Miami Dress Rental will never sell personal information to a third party. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

We always strive to deliver the dress to our post office on time. After it is shipped, the order is no longer in our hands. You are agreeing to the possibility of your order arriving late due to shipping delays.

-YOU (the client) are responsible for returning the items whether it be a local client or out of city/state.

-A security deposit is required in order to deliver the rented product.

-Flying, Water, Glam and Quinceañera dresses require a safety deposit of 40% (per dress). This amount will be held automatically from your credit card until the dress is returned.

-In case there is no damage, the security deposit will be 100% refundable to the customer. If the product is returned with irreversible damage, or not returned at all the customer will be charged for the product’s full retail price.

-In case the customer fails to return the products on time, she or he is liable to pay for every day the return is late, a late fee of 5% of the rental price.

-If the product is returned with minor damages, the store will evaluate the product and consider the due amount.

-The garments returned should be in the same condition they were delivered with the respective hangers, boxes, or other goods.

-In the event of postponement or cancelation, please contact us. The retainers paid are not refundable; nevertheless, it can be used as rental store credit.

-All products are final sale.
